Dear All,
MP Govt cabinet , in its meeting on 06 April, agreed to implement Revised UGC par scale along with enhancement of retirement age to 65 years. Although detail notification is still awaited, our association welcome this first positive step taken by the govt towards resolving the stalemate and implementing the MHRD notified UGC pay scale in toto . Thus, our stand has been vindicated. However , we will release our formal response on Cabinet decision only after we gothrough the relevent govt notification point -by -point and see that all the recommendations of MHRD letter of 31.12.2008 have been implemented in letter and spirit.
We hope govt will release the notification very shortly. We also invite your views on the cabinet decision regarding implementation of new scales sothat a response based on the holistic view be prepared and submitted to the MP Govt.
